Why: The Los Angeles Police Department-Operations Valley Bureau Human Trafficking Task Force has been diligently working to combat the growth of commercial sex crimes in the city of Los Angeles. In early February, North Hollywood Officers responded to domestic violence investigation which resulted in a human trafficking investigation. While working in conjunction with other law enforcement agencies, the investigation has revealed that there may be some additional victims in the city of Los Angeles as well as other adjacent cities and neighboring states.
With the help of Council President Nury Martinez, The Los Angeles Police Department-Operations Valley Bureau Human Trafficking Task Force is asking for the public’s help in identifying anyone who may have been a victim of Human Trafficking.
