Los Angeles: The Los Angeles
Police Department Commercial Crimes Division detectives are asking
for the public’s help in locating additional identity theft victims
of 36- year-old James Shannon.
On September 10, 2019, LAPD investigators from the Commercial
Crimes Division arrested James Shannon also known as James Sannon
for identity theft. The investigation was initiated when the
suspect attempted to buy Clippers season tickets using a victim’s
bank information.
During the investigation, it was determined the suspect worked at
various prominent medical facilities.
While at work, he had access to the personal information of many
victims. It is unknown at this time in the investigation whether
the suspect had legitimate medical credentials, certification or a
license.
