Los Angeles: On Friday, October 17, 2003, at about 6:19 a.m., a male Hispanic, was driving his 2002 Ford F-450 truck southbound Broadway when he ran a red-light colliding with a 2000 Ford Explorer travelling westbound on Cesar Chavez Avenue. The collision between the two caused a four-month old child to be ejected from the rear window of the Ford Explorer.
The infant was transported to LAC-USC Medical Center, where he later died as a result of his injuries.
The investigation is on going and is being conducted by Central Traffic Division Detectives.
