WHY:
In the context of non-violence against women, “Justice for my Sister” is a documentary film by Kimberly Bautista that tells the struggle of a poor Guatemalan woman to bring her sister’s murderer to justice. Rebeca Eunice Perez stars in this 69 minute documentary, which tells the story of the murder of her sister. Narrated by actress Kate del Castillo, Rebeca’s story shows that justice is possible as long as the laws are actually applied.
