Salena Garrett was safely located and had been staying with a close friend. Garrett appeared to be in good health but was transported to a local hospital for observation due to her medical status.
Los Angeles: The family of Salena Garrett and the Los Angeles Police Department requests the public’s assistance in locating her.
Garrett was last seen on 06/29/2012, around 4 p.m., at her residence in the 600 block of South Commonwealth Avenue in the Olympic Area of Los Angeles. Garrett has gone missing before, but has recently been diagnosed with a medical condition that is potentially life threatening if not treated. Â
Garrett is a 15-year-old female Black, black hair, brown eyes, 5 feet 3 inches tall and weighs 150 pounds. She was last seen wearing a light blue shirt and jeans. Garrett has both ears and right nostril pierced and a scar on her right thigh. She frequents the beach, Hollywood Boulevard and Crenshaw Boulevard.
Anyone with information on Garrett’s whereabouts is asked to contact the Olympic Community Police Station at 213-382-9102.
