WHY:
Aligning with National Awareness Efforts. Holding a rally during National Bullying Prevention Month aligns with broader awareness efforts, reinforcing the importance of the message. It connects the school to a larger movement and helps students see that they are part of a national effort to end bullying. The rally is an important tool to educate, empower, and unite the school community against bullying, laying the foundation for a safer and more inclusive environment. Students will have bright orange pom poms, the color of National Bullying Prevention Month. Over 275 students will stand and take the antibullying pledge. Spiderman superhero will make a surprise entrance to ask students to Stand Up to Bullying and be a Superhero.
