Los Angeles – The Board of Police Commissioners will hold a special meeting at 9:00 a.m on Tuesday, July 24, 2018 in Los Angeles City Hall, Room 350, relative to the strategies and technologies utilized by the Los Angeles Police Department in Data-Driven Evidence Based Policing.
This hearing will have presentations from the Office of the Inspector General, American Civil Liberties Union of Southern California, Stop LAPD Spying Coalition and the Los Angeles Police Department(LAPD). The purpose of the hearing is to allow the presenters to provide their perspectives to the Police Commission and public on the strategies and technologies that the LAPD is utilizing daily. There will also be an opportunity for public to provide their comments.
