WHY:
Graduating officers have completed 1,064 hours of training over the course of 28 weeks. There are 35 males and 5 females in the graduating class. The ethnic breakdown of the class is 12 Caucasians, 22 Hispanics, 1 African American, 1 Korean, 2 Chinese,1 Armenian, and 1 Filipino.
In addition, 4 Los Angeles Port Police Department officers will be graduating.
Chief William J. Bratton will inspect the class.
