WHY:
Graduating officers have completed 912 hours of training over the course of 24 weeks. There are 38 males and 5 females in the graduating class.
The ethnic breakdown of the class is 9 Caucasians, 20 Hispanics, 8 African Americans, 1 Chinese, 1 Japanese, 1 Cambodian, 1 Vietnamese, 2 Filipino.
In addition, 4 Los Angeles World Airport Officers and 3 General services Department Officers will be graduating.
