WHY:   
Graduating officers have completed 912 hours of training over the course of 24 weeks.  There are 38 males and 4 females in the graduating class.  The ethnic breakdown of the class is 10 Caucasians, 24 Hispanics, 7 African Americans and 1 Chinese.

In addition to LAPD officers, 4 Los Angeles World Airport Officers and 1 Los Angeles Port Police Officer will be graduating with the class.
