DETAILS:
The Los Angeles Police Department will graduate 43 police officers, with 35 males and eight females. The ethnic breakdown of the graduates is as follows: 13 Caucasians, 21 Hispanics, five Asians (one Korean), one Filipino and three African Americans. Graduating officers have completed 920 hours of training over the course of 24 weeks. Two of the graduates will serve as University of Southern California Department of Public Safety Officers.
