DETAILS:
The Los Angeles Police Department will graduate 40 police officers, with 34 males and six females. The ethnic breakdown of the graduates is as follows: 18 Caucasians, 11 Hispanics, six Asians (no Koreans), three Filipinos, one African American and one American Indian. Graduating officers have completed 920 hours of training over the course of 24 weeks.
