DETAILS:
The Los Angeles Police Department will graduate 41 police officers, with 36 males and five females. The ethnic breakdown of the graduates is as follows: 13 Caucasians, 20 Hispanics, six Asians (four Korean) and two African Americans. Graduating officers have completed 920 hours of training over the course of 24 weeks.
Two of the graduates will be officers for the Los Angeles Port Police and one will be for the California state university system.
