Los Angeles – – With the Holidays upon us, and in the spirit of giving, the Los Angeles Police Department and the community it serves are combining efforts to donate unwrapped toys and books for the many under privileged children in the Los Angeles Area.
Throughout this past year, we have been faced with unprecedented obstacles, challenges and a newly reprised feeling of City unity. With so many overwhelming recent events that have shaken our sense of security, it is assuring to know that as a City, we will recover and prosper together simply because we care and are committed to serving each other.
In keeping with the tradition of giving, Northeast Area Police Station in conjunction with ATS Official Police Garage Tow will be sponsoring the Northeast Community Toy Giveaway. The event will be held on Saturday December 7, 2002 between 9:00 a.m. and 12:00 noon in the rear parking lot of the Northeast Area Police Station, which is located at 353 San Fernando Road, Los Angeles.
