Los Angeles: The Los Angeles Police Department’s Commercial Crimes Division, Burglary Special Section detectives are seeking the public’s assistance in apprehending two suspects who have been identified in several robberies and grand thefts in the San Fernando Valley. From March 30, 2017 to June 14, 2017, LAPD has been investigating and attempting to identify the suspects responsible for a series of 25 robberies and grand thefts occurring at shops in the Northridge Mall and Westfield Topanga Mall.The suspects would enter the businesses with empty tote or shopping bags, conceal high dollar men’s or women’s fragrances in their empty shopping bags and leave the store without paying for the merchandise. In some incidents, the suspects threatened or aggressively took items when store personnel confronted them. The suspects were responsible for thousands of dollars in property loss. Burglary Special Section (BSS) has identified three of the four outstanding suspects involved in the above incidents. The District Attorney’s Office filed multiple counts on suspects Trinity Venable, Shamoria Jackson and Glennesha Denham (AKA Glennesha Okonkwo). Arrest warrants were issued on the three suspects on July 21st, 2017. On July 26th, 2017, Jackson was arrested and is in custody. LAPD is still looking for Venable and Denham.
