WHY:
In August of this year, Chief William J. Bratton formed a multi-agency task force to pool resources and coordinate investigative efforts to combat a series of shootings in South Los Angeles.  As a result of the task force, detectives were able to identify, locate and arrest three wanted murder suspects.
