LAPD Detectives Offer $25,000 Reward

Why:
A $25,000 Reward is being offered for the identification and conviction of person(s) responsible for the death of Mr. Julio Rodriguez.
Rodriguez, a 24 year-old man died on March 8, 2005 after being struck by a hit and run driver in Boyle Heights.
On February 6, 2005 at about 2:07 a.m., a traffic collision occurred at the intersection of 8th Street and Dacotah Street. Mr. Rodriguez was riding his bicycle southbound on Dacotah Street when he was struck by a vehicle traveling eastbound on 8th Street. The driver of the car failed to stop at the scene.
The impact of the collision caused Mr. Rodriguez to fall and sustain an injury to his head. He was transported to a local hospital and died two days later.
