WHY:
This community event allows the LAPD CSP Officers and its partners to come together to share in the spirit of Christmas with the Ramona Gardens Housing Development residents who are in need. Each year a portion of Lancaster Avenue is closed for children and their families to celebrate this special event. Ramona Gardens’ residents gather to decorate and light up Christmas trees while toys and food are distributed to the children. There will be arts and crafts, trackless train rides, a balloon twisting clown, Mariachi music and a Christmas movie on a giant screen for children to enjoy. Residents will have the opportunity to take pictures with Santa and Despicable Me “Minion” characters.
