SPECIAL OLYMPICS
Schedule & Route

7:00 –  SOW (Devonshire personal) load equipment prepare for deployment for banquet at California State University,  Northridge(CSUN)

9:00 – OLYMPIANS, LAPD-DEVONSHIRE, VTD, CSUN PD, LASPD, DARBY & NOBEL SCHOOLS, AND LAPD- MONROE CADETS meet at staging (A) in parking lot of Claim Jumpers (9429 Tampa Ave. at Northridge Mall) refreshments/coffee, pictures, and assignments/formation.

9:45 –  TORCH RUN STARTS (parking lot onto Plummer St E/B Northbound Tampa Ave to Lassen St then E/B to Nobel School)

10:00 –  Arrive at (B) Nobel Middle School (2-3 laps around field, announcements, pictures) exit school onto Merridy St. Westbound to Tampa Ave Northbound.  (LAPD Air Support)

10:30 – Depart Nobel Middle School and continue to Darby Elementary School.  Proceed Tampa Ave North to Devonshire St Eastbound.  Devonshire St East to Reseda Blvd Northbound.  Reseda Blvd to Tribune St East and pick up runners from Darby Elementary.  Runners will proceed East on Tribune St to Etiwanda Ave South to enter Darby Elementary thru gate on East side of campus.  (Set up crew for termination of run at CSUN)

11:00 –  Arrive at (C) Darby Elementary( 2-3 laps around field, announcements, pictures) Enter off Etiwanda Ave between Tribune St and Bermuda Ave. Runners will exit Campus thru gate on East side and continue South on Etiwanda Ave.

11:15 – Depart Darby Elementary to Granada High School.  South on Etiwanda Ave to Chatsworth St. E/Bound. Chatsworth St to Lindley Ave S/Bound to Granada High School. Continue S/B Lindley Ave to Hiawatha St E/Bound. Enter Granada H.S. on Hiawatha St between Lindley and Zelzah Ave.

11:30-  Arrive at (D) Granada High School ( 2-3 Laps around field, pictures) Bag pipers and school staff for support.

11:45- Depart Granada H.S. to Devonshire Station.  Hiawatha E/B to Zelzah S/B.  Zelzah Ave to W/B on Devonshire St. Devonshire St To S/B Etiwanda Ave in front of Devonshire Station.

12:00 –  Arrive at (E) Devonshire Station. ( photos in front of station)

12:15 –  Depart Devonshire Station. Continue Etiwanda Ave  S/B to Lemarsh St E/B on Lemarsh St.  Lemarsh St E/B  to Lindley Ave S/B. Lindley St to Superior St- FINAL DESTINATION  CSUN TRACK

12:30 –  Arrive to (F) CSUN Campus.  (Announcements, photos, and refreshments)
