The LAPD Northeast division is increasing their presence in Griffith Park to conduct crime suppression. This effort includes the deployment of officers on horseback from the Metro Mounted Unit, who will be interacting with tourists and visitors while providing high visibility patrol. The LAPD is committed to utilizing all available resources to improve safety in Los Angeles for residents, workers, and visitors.
