LAPD Officer Killed in Motorcycle Accident

Los Angeles: Earlier today at about 2:15 a.m., off-duty Los Angeles Police Department Officer Kenneth Aragon, who had over 19 years with the Department, was fatally injured in a single-vehicle collision as he was heading northbound on his motorcycle at Fletcher Drive and Larga Avenue in Los Angeles. He was pronounced dead at Glendale Memorial Hospital.
Aragon was last assigned to Northeast Area as a community relations officer and was in charge of the Police Athletic League. He is survived by his wife Renee and their five children: Jessica, Gabrielle, Alyssa, Adam and Nathan.
