Los Angeles: It’s an LA thing! That is the slogan for the 11th Annual Emergency Preparedness Fair. An event where families and businesses can receive free information on how to prepare their homes and commercial locations in the event of an emergency.
The Los Angeles Police Department’s Uniform Support Division is coordinating the Department’s resources for static displays at the 11th Annual City Emergency Preparedness Fair. The Fair will be held at four separate locations, every Saturday during the month of April, between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.
The event features public service displays and general emergency preparedness information. The fair is a family-oriented event, with free admission, and open to the general public. Several City Departments will be represented at the Fair and the public is encouraged to visit with representatives from the Police Department, and other City entities expected to be present at this event.
