LAPD Recruit Graduation

WHAT: Los Angeles Police Department Recruit Officer Graduation Ceremony for Class 5-15

WHEN: October 30, 2015 8 a.m.

WHERE: LAPD Administration Building Plaza 100 W. First Street Los Angeles 90012

WHO: LAPD Chief Charlie Beck Representatives from the LAPD Board of Commissioners Representatives from the Mayor’s Office LAPD Command Staff and Special Guests

DETAILS: The Los Angeles Police Academy will graduate 47 officers. Out of the 47 graduates, 43 will be sworn for the LAPD, three will be sworn for Los Angeles World Airports and one will be sworn for the Port of Los Angeles. Of the 43 LAPD graduates, there are 36 males and seven females with the following ethnic breakdowns: 12 Caucasian, 19 Hispanic, six African Americans, five Asians (non-Korean) and one Filipino. Graduating officers have completed 920 hours of training over the course of 24 weeks.
