LAPD Recruit Graduation

WHAT: Los Angeles Police Department Recruit Officer Graduation Ceremony for Class 2-18

WHEN: Friday, August 3, 2018 8:00 a.m.

WHERE: Elysian Park Academy 1880 North Academy Drive Los Angeles 90012

WHO: LAPD Chief Michel Moore Representatives from the LAPD Board of Commissioners Representatives from the Mayor’s Office LAPD Command Staff and Special Guests

DETAILS: The Los Angeles Police Academy will graduate 34 officers. Of the 34 LAPD officers, there are 30 males and 4 females with the following ethnic breakdown: 7 Caucasians, 21 Hispanics, 4 Asians, 1 African-American and 1 Filipino. The graduating officers will have completed 912 hours of training over the course of 24 weeks.

In addition to LAPD, 1 Los Angeles World Airport Police Officer and 3 Inglewood Police Officers will also be graduating.
