WHAT: Los Angeles Police Department Recruit Officer Graduation Ceremony for Class 9-14

WHEN: Friday, Feb. 20, 2015 9 a.m.

WHERE: LAPD Administration Building Plaza 100 W. First Street Los Angeles 90012

WHO: LAPD Chief Charlie Beck Representatives from the LAPD Board of Commissioners Representatives from the Mayor’s Office LAPD Command Staff and Special Guests

DETAILS: The Los Angeles Police Academy will graduate 39 officers. Out of the 39 graduates, 35 will be sworn for the LAPD and four will be sworn for Los Angeles World Airports. Of the 35 LAPD officers, there are 31 males and four females with the following ethnic breakdown: eight Caucasians, 22 Hispanics, three African Americans, one Korean and one Filipino. Graduating officers have completed 920 hours of training over the course of 24 weeks.
