DETAILS: The Los Angeles Police Academy will graduate 29 officers. Out of the 29 graduates, 23 will be sworn for the LAPD, three will be sworn for Los Angeles World Airports and three will be sworn for the Port of Los Angeles. There are 23 males and six females with the following ethnic breakdown: 11 Caucasian, 13 Hispanics, one Asian (non-Korean) and four African Americans. Graduating officers have completed 920 hours of training over the course of 24 weeks.
NOTE: Event parking will not be provided. Use of public transportation is encouraged whenever possible. For those who need parking, recommended paid parking lots are as follows:
