DETAILS: The Los Angeles Police Academy will graduate 42 officers. Of the 42 LAPD officers, there are 30 males and 12 females with the following ethnic breakdown: 9 Caucasians, 28 Hispanics, 2 Asians, and 3 African-American. The graduating officers will have completed 912 hours of training over the course of 24 weeks.
In addition to LAPD, 4 Los Angeles World Airport Police Officers, 1 Los Angeles Port Police Officer and 1 Los Angeles Recreation and Parks Officer will be also graduating.
