"LAPD Seeks Public’s Assistance in Locating Sexual Predator"
 
Los Angeles: On Thursday, November 21, 2002, at 5:50 a.m., a suspect entered an 18-year-old female college student’s apartment, in the 9600 block of Reseda Boulevard through an unlocked patio door and sexually assaulted the victim.
On Monday, November 25, 2002, at 8:30 a.m., a suspect opened the unlocked door of a 31-year-old female victim’s apartment, in the 17800 block of Merridy Street and left when the victim approached him.
On Tuesday, November 26, 2002, at 5:50 a.m., a suspect opened the unlocked door of a 20-year-old female college student’s apartment, in the 9700 block of Zelzah Avenue and approached her as she was lying on her bed. The victim screamed. The suspect then fled the victim’s apartment.
It is believed that the same suspect is responsible for these crimes as well as other burglaries in the area. This suspect should be considered very dangerous. The Los Angeles Police Department would like to remind all residents to lock their doors and windows at night.
The suspect is described as a male Black, black hair, brown eyes, 5’10"-6’2", 170-220 pounds, 17-23 years old. The suspect routinely wore a hooded sweatshirt and basketball-type shorts. The suspect is clean cut, with a medium build, wide nose and high cheekbones.
