Los Angeles Police Department Recruit Graduation

WHAT: LAPD Recruit Officer Graduation Ceremony for Class 02-19

WHEN: Friday, August 2, 2019 8:00 a.m.

WHERE: Elysian Park Academy 1880 North Academy Drive Los Angeles 90012

WHO: Assistant Chief of Police Bea Girmala Representatives from the LAPD Board of Commissioners Representatives from the Mayor’s Office LAPD Command Staff, Special Guests, and other dignitaries

DETAILS: The Los Angeles Police Academy will graduate 36 Officers. Of the 36 LAPD Officers, there are 33 males and three females with the following ethnic breakdown: 21 Hispanics, seven Caucasians, three African-Americans, three Asians, and two Filipinos. The graduating Officers will have completed 912 hours of training over the course of 24 weeks.

In addition to the 36 LAPD graduates, three Los Angeles World Airport Police Officers, one Los Angeles Port Police Officer, and three Inglewood Police Officers will be also graduating.
