WHO: LAPD Chief of Police Michel Moore Representatives from the LAPD Board of Commissioners Representatives from the Mayor’s Office LAPD Command Staff, Special Guests, and other dignitaries
DETAILS: The Los Angeles Police Academy will graduate 38 Officers. Of the 38 LAPD Officers, there are 25 males and 13 females with the following ethnic breakdown: 17 Hispanics, nine Caucasians, seven African-Americans and five Filipinos. The graduating Officers will have completed 912 hours of training over the course of 24 weeks.
In addition to the 38 LAPD graduates, one Los Angeles World Airport Police Officer and one Los Angeles Port Police Officer will be also graduating.
