Los Angeles: The Los Angeles Police Department is aware of misdemeanor reckless driving charges being filed by the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office on Sergeant I Ruby Aguirre for an on-duty incident. Sergeant Aguirre is a 14–year veteran of the Los Angeles Police Department, assigned to Detective Support and Vice Division and has been assigned to a non–field assignment.
The Department is fully cooperating with the District Attorney’s Office on this matter.
