DETAILS:
On July 10, 2018, around 8:53 p.m., Mission Patrol Officers
observed a structure fire near the 13800 block of Brussels Avenue
in Sylmar. They entered the home and were able to rescue a male
adult who had collapsed inside the residence, likely saving the
man’s life. All four officers were treated for smoke inhalation and
have been returned to full duty.
