Man Arrested for Sexual Battery NR16007aj

Los Angeles: The Los Angeles Police Department Robbery-Homicide Division, Special Assault Section detectives are conducting an investigation involving 46-year-old Ryan Hays, who is a nine year employee of the Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office.
On January 4, 2015, a female employee, who works as a coroner investigator, was sexually battered in the workplace by Hays. He also repeatedly sent her lewd and obscene pictures despite her objections.
On December 31, 2015, the City Attorney’s Office filed one count of Sexual Battery 243.4(E)(1) PC, six counts of harassment 653(M)(B) PC, and one count of Exposure of private parts 314(1) PC.
On January 7, 2016, Hays was arrested for the above charges.
