Sylmar: The Los Angeles Police Department’s Valley Bureau Homicide detectives are asking for the public’s help in providing any information that would lead to the arrest of the suspect(s) involved in the murder of 40-year-old Alexander Garcia Aguirre, a resident of Sylmar.
On November 12, 2021, around 10 p.m., Mission Area Patrol Officers responded to a radio call of a, “Shooting”, in the 13200 block of Maclay Street in Sylmar. Upon arrival, officers discovered a male down in the parking lot, suffering from a gunshot wound.
The Los Angeles Fire Department Paramedics responded and pronounced the victim dead at scene.
Valley Bureau Homicide Detectives responded, the investigation revealed that witnesses saw two males and one female running from the scene, just after the shooting.
