Wilmington: The Los Angeles Police Department’s Harbor Area Homicide Detectives are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect(s) responsible for the shooting death of 29-year-old Efren Diaz.
On July 18, 2017, around 10:10 p.m., Harbor Area patrol officers responded to a shooting call in the 1400 block of North Marine Avenue in the City of Wilmington. When officers arrived they found Diaz had been struck by gunfire multiple times while standing on the sidewalk.
Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics responded and transported Diaz to a local hospital where he later died from his injuries.
Detectives have no leads or suspect(s) information.
