Los Angeles: Los Angeles Police Department West Bureau Homicide detectives are asking for the public’s help in providing any information that would lead to the arrest of a suspect who killed 29-year-old Rene Miranda.
On May 8, 2012, around 12:45 a.m., Olympic Area officers responded to radio call of gunshots heard in the area of 20th Street and Normandie Avenue. When officers arrived they found Miranda lying in the street with gunshot wounds to his torso.
The Los Angeles Fire Department Paramedics responded and transported Miranda to a local hospital where he later died from his injuries.
There is no suspect description and the motive for the shooting is unknown.
