Los Angeles: Detectives are asking for the public’s help to locate a hit and run driver who hit and killed a 75-year-old pedestrian walking in a crosswalk.
On Saturday, August 06, 2011, at about 7:05 p.m., a motorist driving a white mini-van travelling westbound on 3rd Street hit and killed Chong Min of San Pedro, walking southbound in the crosswalk on Mesa Street. The driver failed to stop to render aid or identify themselves as required by law.
Detectives are asking anyone with information about this incident to call South Traffic Division, Detective Section, Investigator Martin at 323-421-2500.
