Los Angeles: The Los Angeles Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating a maroon or burgundy colored Charter Bus and two male suspects who were involved in a hit and run traffic collision that killed a 65-year-old man.
On May 17, 2011, at about 1:00 a.m., Victor Williams, known to some as Clarence Williams, was crossing the street at the intersection of Slauson Avenue and Main Street when he was struck by a charter bus. Two unidentified men got out of the bus, walked over to where Williams was lying on the ground, looked at him, then got back on the bus and drove away. Neither suspect attempted to render aid or stay at scene to identify themselves to police as required by law.
Anyone with information about this traffic incident, or the victim, Mr. Williams, is asked to contact Central Traffic Division, Detective D. Wilson at 213-972-1852.
