Sylmar: Los Angeles Police Department Valley Bureau homicide detectives are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect(s) responsible for the shooting death of 19-year-old Francisco Trejo Jr.
On October 16, 2017, around 2:25 p.m., Foothill Area patrol officers responded to a shooting call at the intersection of Terra Bella Street and Foothill Boulevard. When they arrived, they observed evidence that a shooting had occurred.
Officers located the victim in his vehicle at the southwest corner of Osborne Street and Foothill Blvd. He had been shot multiple times.
It appeared as though the victim fled the location after being shot, then crashed into a building at that location.
The suspect is described as a heavy-set male Hispanic. He was driving a blue late model, 2004-2009 Toyota Camry.
