Los Angeles: Police are asking for the public’s help in finding witnesses who may have seen the shooting of a man in Atwater Village.
On Sunday, March 5, 2006, at about 4:55 a.m., officers responded to a shooting call at the 3100 block of San Fernando Road, in the Atwater Village Area of Los Angeles.
The victim, a 41-year-old white man, was driving a black Ford Expedition that collided with a telephone pole. Officers found the man on the ground with a gunshot wound.
The victim was taken to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
The name of the victim is being withheld pending notification of his family. The motive for this crime is not known.
