Los Angeles: An early morning shooting claimed the life of a 59-year-old man in South Los Angeles today.
On March 1, 2006, at about 3:45 AM, the victim, Mr. Otis Branch, a resident of Los Angeles, was walking in the vicinity of 925 east 114th Street. Unknown suspect(s) walked up to Branch and shot him numerous times.
Mr. Branch was taken to St. Francis Medical Center where he died a few hours later from his injuries.
The motive for the shooting is unknown.
