Opens https://lacity.gov/directory in a new window.Los Angeles: Los Angeles Police Department West Bureau Homicide detectives are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect responsible for killing a man.
On March 5, 2023, around 3:30 a.m., Olympic Area patrol officers responded to an “Ambulance Shooting” radio call in the 1900 block of South Orchard Avenue. Upon arrival, officers located a man in his 20s, seated in a vehicle, suffering from a gunshot wound.
Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics responded and transported the victim to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead. His name is being withheld pending notification to family members.
A male suspect fled the scene in a light-colored vehicle.
