Los Angeles: Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) detectives are investigating the stabbing death of a 44-year-old man in the Harbor Gateway area.
On August 2, 2010, around 5:40 a.m., a group of individuals were using narcotics at the victim’s apartment in the 1300 block of West Carson Street. 28-year-old, Jesse Hendricks and the victim became involved in a heated dispute. Hendricks became angry, pulled out a knife, stabbed the victim multiple times and ran from the scene.
Paramedics responded to the scene and rushed the victim to a local hospital where he died a short time later.
Detectives developed leads to identify the suspect and arrested Hendricks without incident.
The victim’s name will be withheld until a family member has been notified.
