WHAT: Media Advisory regarding media parking for The Armenian 100 Year March activities, including march from Hollywood Area to the Turkish Consulate in Wilshire Area.
WHEN: Friday, April 24, 2015 8:30 a.m. to approximately 6:00 p.m. 8:30 a.m. Armenian Genocide Memorial Square Dedication begins at Hollywood Blvd. and Western Avenue. 10:00 a.m. March begins at Sunset Boulevard and Western Avenue, concludes approximately 6:00 p.m. at 6300 Wilshire Boulevard.
WHERE: Hollywood Boulevard East of Western Avenue St. Andrews Place/ South of Sunset Boulevard Cole Place/ South of Sunset Boulevard McCarthy Vista/ South of Wilshire Boulevard
WHO: An anticipated 15,000 participants are expected for the “March for Justice” to commemorate the Armenian Genocide Centennial.
WHY: Parking for media will be specifically designated for this event:
Media Parking for the 8:30 a.m. dedication of the ‘Armenian Genocide Memorial Square’ at Hollywood Boulevard and Western Avenue will be on the North side of Hollywood Boulevard, East of Western Avenue.
Media Parking for the 10:00 a.m. start of the “March for Justice” will be St. Andrews Place, South of Sunset Boulevard, providing a fire lane on the street.
Media Parking and Media Stage, for “March for Justice” viewing, will be on Cole Place, South of Sunset Boulevard.
Media Parking for the “March for Justice” terminus will be on the east side of McCarthy Vista, South of Wilshire Boulevard, providing a full fire lane on the street. Access to this location will be via San Vicente Boulevard.
