Memorial Services to Honor LAPD Officer II George Nagata Who Passed Away on Saturday, May 3, 2014 NA14088rh

We regret to announce the death of Police Officer II George S. Nagata Jr., who passed away Saturday, May 3, 2014, in Los Angeles, California.

Officer Nagata was born on September 20, 1951, in Santa Monica, California.  He was appointed to the Department on January 26, 1981, a service of 33 years and 4 months.  Officer Nagata was last assigned to Central Area and died from a medical condition.

Officer Nagata is survived by his domestic partner, Rosie; son, David; daughter, Kelly; sister, Loretta; and nine grandchildren.
