Mr. Lee was located downtown near Union Station. He was in good condition and reunited with his family.
Los Angeles: The family of Hyun Kap Lee and the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) are asking for the public’s help in locating Lee who has not been seen since late Tuesday afternoon.
On January 11, 2011, at about 4 p.m., Lee was seen at his residence in the 200 block of South Olive Avenue. He appears to have wandered away from his house and is probably lost and disoriented due to his medical condition.
Lee is a male Korean, 71 years of age, 5 feet 4 inches tall, 160 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. He was wearing a brown shirt with a white vest, brown pants and white shoes, and may be carrying a set of keys that contains his phone number. Lee speaks mostly Korean but also speaks some English.
Anyone with information about Lee’s whereabouts is asked to contact Central Area Police Station at 213-972-1298. During non-business hours or on weekends, calls should be directed to 1-877-LAPD-24-7 (877-527-3247). Anyone wishing to remain anonymous should call Crimestoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (800-222-8477).
