Los Angeles: The family of Alejandro Hisola and the Los Angeles Police Department are asking for the public’s help in finding Hisola.
On July 22, 2011, at about 8 a.m., Hisola was last seen in the 7600 block of Boeing Avenue, in the city of West Los Angeles. He went for his daily walk and failed to return to his residence. He previously resided in Las Vegas and often speaks of returning, however, his wife later discovered that he left his wallet, ID and credit cards in the residence and it is believed that he has no means to travel to Las Vegas at this time. It is extremely unusual for the missing person to disappear in this manner and his family is greatly concerned for his safety.
Hisola is described as an 89-year-old Asian or Filipino male, with gray hair and brown eyes. He is 5 feet 5 inches tall, weighs approximately 115 pounds. He was last seen wearing a tan hat, blue striped long sleeved shirt, black pants and white shoes. He is also missing upper and lower teeth.
Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Hisola is asked to contact LAPD Missing Persons Unit Detective Marla Ciuffetelli at (213) 996-1800. During non business hours or on weekends, calls should be directed to 1-877-LAPD-24-7. Anyone wishing to remain anonymous should call Crimestoppers at 800-222-TIPS (800-222-8477). Tipsters may also contact Crimestoppers by texting to phone number 274637 (C-R-I-M-E-S on most keypads) with a cell phone. All text messages should begin with the letters “LAPD.” Tipsters may also go to LAPDOnline.org, click on "webtips" and follow the prompts.
