Los Angeles: The Los Angeles Police Department requests the public’s assistance in locating 49 year-old Herbert Gaona who suffers from Parkinson’s disease and schizophrenia. Gaona does not have his medications and was last seen leaving his home, located on the 5000 block of Novgorod Street in Los Angeles, on October 27, 2002, at 7:00 a.m. Gaona left to visit his sister in El Monte, California but never arrived. Unconfirmed sightings have placed Gaona in Rosemead, California.
Herbert Gaona is a male Hispanic with black hair and brown eyes. He is 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighs 170 pounds. Mr. Gaona was last seen wearing blue jeans, a white shirt. He may also be wearing sunglasses.
