Mission Hills Community Meets Their New Senior Lead Officers

 
Los Angeles: On Sunday, May 1 st the Los Angeles Police Department’s (LAPD) Mission Area Community Police Station will officially open for daily operation and serve more than 200,000 people who live, work and play in the north San Fernando Valley.
In light of the historic event, Commanding Officers Captain Kirk Albanese and Captain Robert Green have extended an invitation to the media to attend the first "Roll Call" of LAPD’s 19th police station. Roll call will begin at 6:15 a.m., on Sunday morning, at the
Mission Community Police Station located at 11121 Sepulveda Boulevard Boulevard in Mission Hills.
The media will also have the rare opportunity to listen to Mission Station’s first radio broadcast and watch the officers respond to calls for service.
At informal gatherings later in the day, Senior Lead Officers (SLOs) will meet with the public to discuss community policing concepts, address questions and/or community concerns and begin building the valuable partnerships needed to reduce crime and enhance the quality of life for north valley residents.
