Los Angeles: Members of the media are cordially invited to attend the Monthly Media Availability Meeting, hosted by Chief of Police William J. Bratton. This media availability is consistent with Chief Bratton’s mandate to foster an attitude of openness and cooperation between the Department and the public/media.

During the press availability, Chief Bratton will introduce the Mayor of Detroit, Kwame M. Kilpatrick and the Chief of Police of Detroit, Chief Jerry Oliver. Mayor Kilpatrick and Chief Oliver are in Los Angeles to discuss consent decree related issues with the Los Angeles Police Department.
